Westfield – Westfield State University will host the first annual Owl Run 5K race on April 7 at 9 a.m. at the Horace Mann Center. The event will be part of the University’s fifth #GiveAHoot Annual Day of Giving, running from 8 a.m. April 10 to 2:39 p.m. April 11.

#GiveAHoot Annual Day of Giving
For 1,839 minutes, in recognition of the year of the University’s founding, Westfield State will focus its efforts on April 10 and 11 to encouraging donor participation in support of student success. This year’s goals are to engage 500 donors, to raise $50,000 and to increase alumni, staff, and student participation.

“We are excited for this year’s event, building upon the success from 2018 with a creative wrinkle that pays homage to the year the institution was founded and supplemented by our first Owl Run 5K,” said Erica Broman, Ed.D., vice president for Institutional Advancement.
