Westfield State University to offer Virtual Voiceover Course

Westfield—Westfield State University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Education will offer a new live online Virtual Voiceover course on Tuesday and Thursday nights, April 16–25, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Taught by actor and voiceover artist Mike Jablon, this instructional course includes techniques designed to offer a foundation in the world of voiceover. Through four highly interactive two-hour sessions, participants in this course will be able to build their self-confidence as a voice actor and get instant feedback from an industry professional. The new online format allows students to enjoy this course from the comfort and convenience of their own home.

About the instructor
A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Mike Jablon is an actor and voiceover artist. He earned an A.S. in broadcasting and telecommunications from Mount Wachusett College and a B.S. through the mass communications film program at Emerson College. He has displayed his voiceover talents for global companies like Tyson Foods, MassSave, Poland Spring, and Nestle.
He also enjoys lending his character voices to numerous projects, and has made several on-camera and theatre performances. Most recently he can be seen as “Ezekiel” in Comedy Central’s Time Traveling Bong. In addition to working as a full-time actor, Jablon is also the audio/visual technical director at Lau Lapides Company, a full-service coaching and production company for actors in Boston, NYC, and Miami.
