Westfield State University to offer MTEL Communication and Literacy Prep Course

Westfield—The College of Graduate and Continuing Education will offer a MTEL Communication and Literacy Prep course on Monday and Wednesday nights, May 13 through June 12, 4:30–6:30 p.m. on the campus of Westfield State University.
This intensive MTEL Prep class is designed to acquaint students with the types of material and questions on the test; to review grammar, writing, and reading techniques; to bolster confidence by teaching effective testing strategies; and to provide time for practice, group discussions, individual assistance, and questions. The first four classes will cover reading and the last five classes will cover writing, so students have the option to enroll for both sessions or just for one.
The cost for the full course is $290. The cost to take the reading portion of the course only is $160 and the writing portion only is $200. To register online, visit www.westfield.ma.edu/mtelprep.
