Westfield State University to offer MTEL Communication and Literacy Prep Course
WESTFIELD, Mass.—Westfield State University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Education will offer a live online MTEL Communication and Literacy Prep course on Mondays and Wednesdays, May 17 through June 16, from 4:30–6:30 p.m.
This intensive course is designed to acquaint students with the types of material and questions on the test; to review grammar, writing, and reading techniques; to bolster confidence by teaching effective testing strategies; and to provide time for practice, group discussions, individual help, and questions. The first four classes will cover reading and the last five classes will cover writing; students have the option to enroll in either only one session or in both.
The cost for the full course (reading and the writing sessions) is $290. The cost to take only the reading portion of the course is $160, and the writing portion only is $200.
