Westfield State University students give back to City of Westfield through HOOT Day

WHAT:  9th annual HOOT (Helping Out Our Town) Day of volunteering in Westfield

WHO:  Westfield State University student volunteers

The University begins the semester with more than 150 students committed to providing

community service at 25 locations for businesses and organizations in the City of Westfield.

Students paint, garden, clean and perform other volunteer activities both indoors and outside.

WHEN:  Tuesday, September 4, 2018, 8 a.m. to noon

WHERE:   Various locations throughout the city, including Amelia Park Arena, Columbia

Greenway, Columbia MFG, Fort Meadow Early Childhood Center, Kane Park,

Southampton Road School, St. Mary’s Parish Center and School, Stanley Park,

Westfield Boys & Girls Club, Westfield Middle School, Westfield Technical Academy,

and the YWCA of Greater Westfield.
