Westfield State University hosting Alumni Art Show until October 5

Westfield – Westfield State University is hosting an Alumni Art Show featuring the works of a dozen graduates in its Arno Maris Art Gallery, Ely Campus Center, through October 5.

Included in this event will be the works of the University’s alumni, including paintings by Jacob Capone ’19, Dan Delisle ’16, Michelle Pescetta ’04, Diane Savino ’82, Joan Steinmeyer ’92, and JoAnne M. Zimmerman’77; an illustration by Casey Desilets ’11, drawings by Micayla Levesque’18 and Anthony Sarkis ’19, ceramics by Jill Fahey’14 and Mary Ann (Sharland) Roussi’77; and printmaking and sculpture by Lee Connolly Weill ’75.

On Saturday, September 28, during the University’s homecoming weekend, the gallery will host an artists’ reception, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The art show will conclude with a reception for the Westfield State Class of 1967 on Saturday, October 5 at 1 p.m., sponsored by University’s Office of Alumni Relations.

The exhibit and artists’ reception are free and open to the public. Gallery hours: Tuesday–Friday 10 a.m.–2 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. For more information about this event and future campus exhibits, visit www.westfield.ma.edu/marisgallery.
