Westfield, MA—Westfield Bank is pleased to announce the recent promotions of lending, retirement services, and branch personnel.
|Sharon Czarnecki has been promoted to Vice President/Commercial Loan and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer at the bank’s main office in Westfield. She is responsible for all aspects of loan origination and service for new and existing small business customers. As CRA Officer, she is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the bank’s relationships with community-based charitable and nonprofit organizations, and for the bank’s compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Westfield State University. She serves as Director and Treasurer of the Westfield State University Foundation and as Trustee and Treasurer of Westfield Academy. She is a Board Member of both the Albert and Amelia Ferst Operating Foundation and the Westfield Boys & Girls Club. She resides in Westfield with her husband Joe and sons Joey and CJ.|
|Judith A. St. Pierre has been promoted to Vice President of Retirement Services at the bank’s main office in Westfield. She is responsible for management of the bank’s Retirement Services Department and oversees all aspects of customer service regarding retirement accounts, including IRS-required reporting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Westfield State University. In the community, St. Pierre is a supporter of WGBY Public Television and the Springfield Museums. She is a former member and director of the Western Massachusetts Chapter of the Bankers Educational Forum. She currently resides in Ludlow.|
|Stephanie A. Morales has been promoted to Vice President/Branch Manager III at the bank’s 560 East Main Street branch in Westfield. She is responsible for the supervision of 15 retail bankers and concentrates on mortgage origination for the branch. Morales joined Westfield Bank in 1997 as a Teller, later advancing to Customer Service Representative and then into branch management and officer positions, most recently as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager/Mortgage Specialist. She resides in West Springfield.|
|Jaime Smith has been promoted to Vice President/Branch Manager III. Smith is based at the bank’s Park Street office in West Springfield and directs a team of 9 employees. Her banking career spans 23 years, beginning at the former Park West Bank and Trust Company as a Teller. She later joined BayBank and worked through many conversions with Bank Boston, Fleet, and Bank of America. Smith joined Westfield Bank in 2007 as Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager/Mortgage Specialist. She has been instrumental in employee development, customer retention and deposit growth at the branch level. She streamlined the bank’s current school banking program and facilitates school banking in the West Springfield area. She teaches financial literacy to high school seniors at the Lower Pioneer Valley Education Collaborative and serves on the Board of Directors for the West of the River Chamber of Commerce. She resides in West Springfield with her husband and four children.|
|Sheryl A. Fleming has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager II at the bank’s Holyoke office. Fleming joined Westfield Bank nearly 30 years ago as a Teller. Over the years, she advanced to Customer Service Representative, Assistant Branch Manager, and most recently Retail Banking Officer, Branch Manager/Mortgage Specialist. In her new role, Fleming manages branch operations and is responsible for business development, deposit growth, mortgage origination and community involvement. She is a past Board Member of the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce and is currently a Table Ambassador for Girls, Inc. She and her husband and family reside in Feeding Hills.|
|Karen A. Hobert has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer/Branch Manager at the bank’s Park Street office in West Springfield. She manages daily branch operations and specializes in commercial account servicing. She has 39 years of banking experience and holds an associate degree from Holyoke Community College. She resides in Chicopee.|
|Gregory Musante has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer/Branch Manager at the bank’s Holyoke office. Formerly a mortgage loan officer with Webster Bank and Bank of America, he joined Westfield Bank in 2015 as Assistant Branch Manager and Business Specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Plymouth State College. He is a member of both the Holyoke and Easthampton Chambers of Commerce. He resides in Conway.|
