Westfield, MA—Thomas C. Cebula has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Team Leader of Small Business Lending at Westfield Bank. Cebula joined Westfield Bank in 2011. He is based at the Bank’s headquarters at 141 Elm Street in Westfield, MA and is responsible for loan origination, underwriting, processing, documentation, and closing for the Bank’s team of commercial lenders. He also collaborates with branch managers, providing them assistance with business calls and loan originations. Additionally, he is responsible for the organization and growth of the Bank’s Small Business Administration loan portfolio, and he serves as the Bank’s liaison to the Small Business Administration, presenting business planning workshops and seminars to new applicants at the Small Business Development Center of Springfield, MA.
Cebula has an extensive background in commercial lending, having previously held senior management positions in the field at Fleet Bank, Bank of New England, and Third National Bank. He received a business degree from Babson College and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Western New England University. He is an Adjunct Professor of Business at Springfield College.
In the community, Cebula is in his 39th year of coaching basketball on levels ranging from youth to semi-professional. He is a certified basketball official with the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials. He is currently Head Coach for the Ludlow High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team and recently served as Basketball Coach at his alma mater, Minnechaug Regional High School. He is a member of the Minnechaug Alumni Hall of Fame for service and commitment to the community and a member of the Ludlow Sports Hall of Fame as a coach. He is an active volunteer, service leader, fundraiser and coach with the Wilbraham Recreation Department. He is also a certified softball official with the Greater Springfield Softball Association.

Cebula resides in Wilbraham, MA with his wife Beth and sons Nick, Tim and Anthony.
