MEDIA ADVISORY WESTFIELD STATE UNIVERSITY TO HOST HUMASON/MCCABE MAYORAL DEBATE OCT. 29

Westfield State University will host a debate, sponsored by The Republican and The Westfield News, between the two candidates for mayor of the City of Westfield, State Sen. Donald Humason Jr. ’89 and City of Westfield Police Capt. Michael McCabe ’84.
Moderated by former Western Mass News talent Ray Hershel, the debate is scheduled for one hour and is free and open to the public. Submitted questions will be collected from the audience and several will be selected and included as part of the debate.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:15 p.m., as admittance will not be allowed after 6:30 p.m. The event will be broadcast live in Westfield on Comcast Cable channel 15 and streamed online at https://www.cityofwestfield.org/512/CH-15-Live-Stream.
Event parking will be available in the Commuter Lot on campus.
