Donated PPE to Visiting Angels
Visiting Angels of West Springfield recently received a generous anonymous donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)! We were delighted when twenty boxes containing six thousand disposable isolation gowns were delivered to our office. We are very grateful for this donation which will help ensure the safety of our caregivers and their clients.
Visiting Angels is also incredibly thankful for the two hundred and fifty KN95 masks they received as a benefit of their membership in the Home Care Alliance! The Home Care Alliance is a full-service, non-profit trade association which offers educational programs, advocacy efforts, education, directories, news, professional groups, and many other services to its members. Members can also become an HCA accredited home care provider (which Visiting Angels of West Springfield is in the process of completing). Their accreditation program includes rigorous standards concerning client rights, privacy, and complaint procedures, protections against abuse, fair employment practices, caregiver background screening, competency, training and supervision, insurance coverage, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Visiting Angels is a home health care service that offers senior in-home care, elderly care, and care for those with dementia and Alzheimer's. We serve towns across the Pioneer Valley and the Greater Springfield Area (including Springfield, West Springfield, Longmeadow, East Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Agawam, Ludlow, Westfield, Southwick, Chicopee, Feeding Hills, Indian Orchard, Holyoke, Southampton, and Montgomery).
