Chicopee Industrial Contractors Presents Annual Employee Awards
At the annual company meeting, Carol Campbell, President and CEO, presented the company’s most prestigious awards, The Cal Denson Award and The 10th Player Award.
The Cal Denson Award was created in his name to annually recognize the outstanding efforts of an employee. Cal, through his tireless efforts, outstanding and unsurpassed loyalty, leadership, communication and knowledge of his trade, exemplifies the goal of quality of service which Chicopee Industrial sets and achieves daily. The 2012 recipient of The Cal Denson Award is Thomas Dart.
Mr. Dart, a Chicopee resident, has been a member of the CIC team since 2001. He is a master rigger, CDL driver, and heavy equipment operator. He brings over 17 years of experience in his fields. He comes from a family of riggers – together with his father and brothers, they have well over 50+ years of experience.
The 10th Player Award is determined by their peers as the most valued teammate. Demonstrating that quality of work is not just an individual accomplishment but rather a team effort, this person has gone above and beyond what is expected; works well with other team members; values their efforts and contributions as much as his own for a common goal; has the ability to identify and motivate individual employees to form a team that stays together, works together and achieves together. The 2012 recipient of The 10th Player Award is Paul Sapouckey.
Mr. Sapouckey, a resident of Indian Orchard, has been with CIC since 2009. He is a Class A CDL Driver, apprentice rigger and a heavy equipment operator. He has 20 years of experience in the field. Mr. Sapouckey is also a Veteran.
