Chester Station and two Keystone Arches were celebrated at a ceremony / plaque unveiling on 9/25, for the recent National Historic Landmark designation.  Among those attending are: L to R: Ben Hechscher, Rail News Round-Up, Bob Daley, Rich Holzman, Chester Foundation, Natalie Blais, State Rep., Dave Pierce Chester Foundation President, Karen Christenson, Train Campaign, Smitty Pignatelli, State Rep, Anne Miller, Palmer Train Stop posing with the Park Service plaque.  Also in attendance were representatives of the National Park Service, MA Division of Fisheries & Wildlife, Westfield River Wild & Scenic Committee, Western MA Rail Coalition, and food was supplied through a grant from the Westfield River Watershed Association.  It was also an occasion for the Wild & Scenic Committee to honor retiring 20-year Chair, Robert Thompson, of Chester.  Thanks to all that made this possible.
