Caregivers at Visiting Angels of West Springfield are eligible to receive the vaccine as of February 2021
Karen Foster, a CNA at Visiting Angels of West Springfield, recently received the COVID-19
vaccine. Foster is also a PCT (Patient Care Technician) at Baystate Wing Hospital. She has
cared for patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and understands the importance of
receiving the COVID-19 vaccine during this difficult time.
Foster had to make a decision to get the COVID-19 vaccine and approached her peers for their
advice. After watching various patients suffer from COVID-19 and witnessing the risk it posed to
our elderly community, she knew she must get the vaccine for her safety and for those around
her. She quickly came to the conclusion that it would be a safe and wise decision for her family
as well. In getting the vaccine, she would be able to spend quality time with her loved ones.
Caregivers at Visiting Angels of West Springfield are eligible to receive the vaccine as of
February 2021. We can assure your seniors are in good hands as we care for them in these
