BERKSHIRE BANK UNITES TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY ON XTRAORDINARY DAY
Berkshire Bank employees will participate in volunteer projects as part of its Xtraordinary Day of Service. The day highlights the company’s commitment to supporting all of the communities that Berkshire Bank serves.
Employees throughout the Pioneer Valley are teaming up to fight global hunger by packaging over 50,000 meals in partnership with Rise Against Hunger. Volunteers will help with everything from unloading and measuring supplies to weighing and packing meals for shipment. Rise Against Hunger will then send the meals, which are filled with protein and other essential nutrients, to nations where starvation is a leading issue.
Wednesday, June 5, 2019, all Berkshire Bank locations will close at noon for employees to participate in volunteer projects from 1pm to 4pm.
Employees are scheduled to participate in 36 service projects across six states.
