BAYSTATE NOBLE HOSPITAL DEBUTS STATE OF THE ART ENTRANCE AND LOBBY
WESTFIELD, MA (June 14, 2018) - - Baystate Noble Hospital, a member of Baystate Health and a leading regional community hospital providing a broad range of expert services to the greater Westfield area, announced today the re-opening of the front entrance and lobby.
After eight months, the Baystate Noble front entrance and lobby construction is complete. The new entrance and reception area have been enhanced to improve access and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Some of the improvements include installing new automatic sliding doors, re-grading the circular driveway and walkway areas to create a level surface, and adding a protected drive-under canopy drop-off area for patients.
“This new entrance and lobby is symbolic of Baystate Health’s commitment to healthcare excellence close to where people live and work, stated Ronald Bryant, president, Baystate Noble Hospital and Baystate Franklin Medical Center. We are honored to provide the greater Westfield community with a leading destination for health and wellness. This project wouldn’t have been realized without the ongoing support from Senator Humason, State Representative Velis, the community and the Baystate Noble Ball contributors, so thank you”.
Many gathered celebrating the re-opening including Baystate Health leadership, Baystate Noble executives, employees and volunteers, Legislators, many community partners and Baystate Noble Ball donors.
“It was my pleasure to work with the Baystate Noble administration, Representative Velis, the Baker administration and my colleagues at the State House to make this proposal a reality,” said State Senator Donald Humason.
State Representative John Velis adds, “This is an exciting time for Baystate Noble, and the greater Westfield community. This new entrance and lobby is a shining example of what is possible through strong public and private partnerships with the end goal of creating easy access for both patients and their families. We’re fortunate to have this hospital with its high level of care and services in our own backyard”.
