WESTFIELD – OLYMPIC SPIRIT NIGHT

In conjunction with the Bellamy Family, Amelia Park Ice Arena, Westfield Public Schools – and many other community organizations and volunteers, the City of Westfield will be co-hosting a  ‘Spirit Night’ to kick off the 2018 Winter Olympics and to wish our hometown Olympian, Kacey Bellamy good luck in the upcoming games.

On Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 6:30 pm at Amelia Park Ice Arena, we will celebrate the Olympics and the spirit of competition prior to a scheduled 7:00 high school hockey game.  Come for the celebration and stay for the game.  Immediately following the celebration, stay to watch the Longmeadow Lancers Girls Ice Hockey team take on the Auburn Rockets at 7:00 pm.  Admission to the game is free.

As a two-time Silver Medalist in the 2010 and 2014 Olympics, we are hoping that the third time is the charm for Kacey and the Women’s Ice Hockey Team in their hunt for a gold medal.  While her accomplishments on the ice are many, Kacey has done a great deal for Westfield, by making her hometown proud and returning and giving back to the community.

We hope you can join us, and go Team USA!
