Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce

PEPSI is coming to Westfield, MA this Saturday, May 14, 2011, bringing a caravan of vehicles loaded with cleaning supplies and a crew of volunteers. Their destination is the campus that is home to the Amelia Park Children’s Museum (APCM) and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield (BGC). Their mission is part of Pepsi Supports Surrounding Towns (p.s.s.t.) a program that’s goal is simple "to help sixteen (16) selected towns in New England with a specific community project", by donating time and manpower to local organizations.
The p.s.s.t. volunteers will arrive in town at 9:00 am and begin work cleaning, weeding, sweeping, and working the grounds of APCM and BGC. Immediately following their hard work the volunteers from PEPSI along with all those volunteers who have helped from the community are invited to a free barbeque catered by Famous Dave’s Restaurant compliments of Pepsi.

Children are encouraged to bring a plant to include in the outside garden beds. A garden stick will be provided for the children to write their name and put it in the garden with their plant. As they visit the museum throughout the summer they can watch how their plant has grown!
