The museum will demonstrate the evolution of power sources from water to steam to electricity as well as exhibit several of the machines used to manufacture drums over the years. The buildings and original equipment at the site offer a unique opportunity to experience "Yankee Ingenuity" as it impacted manufacturing in the mid-1800's forward.  In 1873 100,000 drums were produced. Come see the fascinating history of drum making to include vernacular tooling, jigs and fixtures!

NCCHP was established in 2007 as a non-profit organization with a goal to create a museum to preserve and incorporate the rich history of the town of Granville and the surrounding areas. The Noble and Cooley factory site provides a historically signifcant space to house this educational facility.
